A light-weight read that needs some spice to add to its flavor. The plot was thin, and the action was not intense or complex enough.
I felt the book could not stand on its own merit and needed the reader to have prior experience with Ms. Briggs werewolf series.
This is unfortunate, because Ms. Briggs is an excellent writer that I know can do better.
