Very Good. 12mo-over 6¾"-7¾" tall. Rare First Printing. Pp. 87 + 29 ads, frontis port. with tissue guard, 12mo format, original decorated endpapers, original grey linen with black and red decorations with illustration of the author performing a card trick. A superb Nearly Fine original copy with no repairs, no owner's markings, no noticeable wear or fading to cloth. Only minor flaws are some age-darking to the edges of the text block, slight foxing to endpapers, and minor rippling to the linen cover cloth. It's doubtful that a better copy could be found.
