I've enjoyed this book, it is old-fashioned. Food, herbal treatment, or flavoring properties for each plant are presented in a very readable prose form, along with colorful, enticing descriptions of the kinds of places they grow. This is not a book with warnings about which items might be unhealthy to eat, or help identifying the plants.
