Awesome Resource!!
What a pleasure to find a professional person willing to admit that "we, as professionals" need help occasionally as well! In the field of "human services" there has been a tendency to "act as if" we are infallible, and "as if" it is shameful to need or seek assistance as care providers. We are as human and needy as the people we assist and I applaud my fellow colleague for raising the issue in print. Not only did she raise the issue, she dealt with it, in a timely, thought-provoking, insightful and resourceful manner. What a refreshing find! I shall refer this to all my fellow mental health care providers as" first aid for the weary soul!"
