Informative and insightful
Amongst many study books on this subject- this book I found easier to read. The writers are able - in their skillful way to 'crack' open this complex subject for anyone- including the 'scholar, to want to delve deeper into reading the Bible. And dare I say -begin to understand the background to how the Bible was written & what it says to us & its revelance today.

Excellent Resource
This is a must have book for all serious students of the Bible. Fee and Stuart don't interpret the Bible for you but they give you the tools to accurately and effectively interpret it for yourself with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Excellent How-to Book!
I bought this book at a bible college bookstore a few years back, but did not give it much attention. Later I picked it up and I saw what a treasure I had! Excellent book by two very noted scholars. Gives simple common sense guidelines for reading the different genres of bible texts. I've loaned it to a friend who liked it as well. Get Fee's book!
