In addition to them, intrinsic self-healing polymers encompass these responsiveness features and are constructed on the basis of reversible bonding such as Diels-Alder reactions for locally healing these materials after experiencing damage. This book intends to propose a comprehensive knowledge on smart materials that encompass self-evolving materials and self-healing materials, including their implementation of 3D-printing technology.
