Dr. Michael Greger (and Gene Stone) have written a brilliant, entertaining book for anyone who's interested in taking charge of their own health. Nicely laid out, easy to read and follow for non-toxic ways to upgrade your health with good foods. We've adopted his fun purple cabbage approach to monitoring pH of our pee... like a sixth grade science experiment! Going thru all the major health issues with simple ways to support our body's natural need to heal itself and stay healthy gives us lots of great info and advice we can use immediately. How not to die
The book itself was in good condition and has lots of helpful info in it. I had first read parts of the book borrowed from a friend. The book I received was a paper back which is fine but much smaller than the book I borrowed and therefore has smaller printing. Not real convenient for senior citizens.
