The rarest gems here are the groups using clarinets, a sound which had almost vanished by the time the rumba hit the world in 1930, (Azpiazu's "Peanut Vendor" has a hint at the end) but was not only gorgeous but very influential (it was behind the 1930s calypso clarinet).
