Through their winter march, Dennis will discover who was responsible for the attack and murder of his fiance on his wedding day. Also through this trek,Tinuva will reveal to his friend Gregory his past with Bovai, (Which I found most interesting, along with Dennis' past/ reason for fighting the Tsurani.). Some of the writing is slow, but reveals alot about the differences of the Tsurani and Kingdom peoples. But, the intense battle scenes definately make up for it!
