In other story arcs, the homicide squad has trouble adjusting to irreverent arson detective Mike Kellerman (Reed Diamond); Pembleton (Yaphet Kotto) learns that his wife is pregnant; and videographer J.H. Brodie (Max Perlich) goes to work for homicide on a semi-regular basis.
