The Dracula most of us know from modern presentations is a quite different animal from the character that Bram Stoker created. Skal is a long-acknowledged expert in the realm of horror media. With sure & literate hand, he traces the behind-the-scenes progress of Stoker's character into the complex world of 20th century stage, screen, commerce, & litigation.
