The second of two CDs in this superior Hoagy Carmichael tribute project once again draws its material from the 1981 LP, live performances from 1984-85, and a few studio sessions in 1993. Starred throughout are pianist/vocalist Bob Dorough (most memorably on "Ole Buttermilk Sky" and "Baltimore Oriole," which he practically owns), singer Barbara Lea (wonderful on "Star Dust" and "Old Man Harlem"), and cornetist Dick Sudhalter (featured on instrumental versions of "New Orleans" and "Jubilee").
