I got this book out of the library to share with my 11 year old son who is studying ancient cultures. I stopped for a coffee on the way home and browsed through it, immediately taken by how many amazing illustrations it had. I jumped online and ordered a copy from Alibris before I even got my coffee. I knew this would be a book to have in our house, for reference, for years. I do a lot of different art and am interested in history. As with all DK books, this one is just packed with good stuff.
