Wings very long, with ten quills, tail of ten feathers, and gape very wide and deeply cleft; or else bill long and slender, tongue extensile, and secondaries only six in number. (Ridgway.) Covers are just a little faded over spine and show some wear at spine ends and lower corners. Hinges (internal) are broke and holding by the webbing. Inked purchase note at top of front paste down dated 1908. Text block remains tight, and volume is otherwise clean and intact. Cloth covers are a little worn at spine ends and just a little along the joint of the front cover at the spine. Front hinges (internal ) is broke, though text block remains very tight and attached to covers. Last two blank pages, and rear free end page are mostly detached and show chipping along outside edges. Contents are otherwise clean and intact.
