Good. No Jacket. 1844, stated New Edition, this is a later printing, complete in single volume. The first edition was a 2 volume set in 1835. Hardcover, 8vo., green cloth. Tissue-covered frontis + portrait plates throughout. A Good to Fair reading copy: both boards present, but loose. Cloth covering spine is present, but loose and now in 3 pieces; almost fully complete. However, the backstrip is holding and complete. Only the front page signature is loose. Contents foxed, but readable. A Rare title in need of a rebinding.
