A tight and nice first edition of these feature articles by a Champaign-Urbana newspaper columnist chronicling many aspects of life in the heart of Illinois. Not only is this copy signed boldly by her in black ballpoint on the title page, but laid in is the ideal bookmark--a note from the subject of one of the articles (he checkmarks the chapter in the "Contents") in which he writes, "A little rarity here--includes an article from 1977 based on an interview with me upon graduating from the U of IL."
