Haunted Belfast contains a number of supposed true ghost stories. Most date back to Victorian times, and there are really no contemporary reports or recent eyewitness testimony. Baker seems to rely mainly on old newspaper files and books for his sources. He is a good, straightforward writer, but this is not as good as some other books in the Nonesuch "Haunted" series.
