Harmony portrays these vocalists, all 54 members of the Wiener Staatsoper ensemble in the season 2014/2015.The book gives us an idea of how opera really works, describes past and present ensembles and the everyday life of an opera singer. Kammersanger Herwig Pecoraro, tenor and president of the Solistenverband, and photographer Lois Lammerhuber invited the singers to 'portray themselves' without costume or make-up. The artists were to be photographed following their own ideas and wishes, dressed in their own clothes, and set in their favourite spot in the opera house. The result is a collection of very personal photographs.
