This 5th Edition of Handbook of Psychiatric Drug Therapy is an excellent psychopharrmacology review source except that it is clearly behind the times. Most of the psychotropic medications developed in the last 5-10 years are not covered. It also pays little attention to OTC remedies and medications that interact with psychotropic drugs.
I understand there is a newer edition of the book but I don't know how this deficit has been remedied.
This book deserves to be praised but I continue to remain ambivalent how much praise that should be, although I have no regrets having purchased it!!
