The overall purpose of this book is to take the advanced Dianetics auditor and make him even more skilled with the techniques outlined. Even his ?patient? (preclear, one who wants to go Clear, as defined in the Dianetics book) can use this book for self-processing. Regardless, I found several surprising bits of theory that can have practical application for anyone. I now have the answer to why when a person is emotionally distraught, why this shakes the fabric of self-confidence. What?s the answer to that? Answered in the book. What?s the cause of psychosis and its cure? What?s the cause of homosexuality? Surprising answer. How common is masturbation? Why is sympathy not all it?s cracked up to be? Hubbard makes several amazing assertions that people should know to better run their lives. Some feel Hubbard and his organizations are controversial. I?d differ with that and say he is the only breathe of fresh air in the field of mental health. With Dianetics, one could actually handle a lot. Read this book.
