In 2012, Chrome leader Helios Creed discovered a cache of lost tapes featuring unheard compositions from the sessions for 1979's Half Machine Lip Moves and 1980's Red Exposure; the group launched a crowdfunding campaign to buy back the master tapes (which were seized when the group forgot to pay a bill at a recording studio), and in late 2013 the recordings, remixed and restored to sound the way the artists had intended, were released as Half Machine from the Sun: The Lost Tracks from '79-'80.
