Required Book 2 of a multi-volume "set"
After using Mr. Leonhard's first book by the same name that was written for Word FOR WINDOWS 2.0(!), I was still in the same position as office automation developer for the Secretary of Defense's office. When my office upgraded our customer to Word FOR WINDOWS 6.0 (yup, I'm that long in the tooth), I knew where to go to continue my work as an "expert" macrotizer.
Even without the first edition of this book, anyone who wishes to still write macros for Microsoft Office Word (up to 2010...) needs this book. It has the same ease of reading and use, the same high quality examples on the disk (upgraded to a 3.5" floppy from the first editions 5.25"!!!), and is "required" as part of the "Woody Leonhard Rants About WinWord Like You Do" multi-volume set.
This book (which I originally ordered on "pre-release" and later stupidly threw out) greatly reduced my office's support time down to 1.5 hours for a new requirement, in most cases.
Read it, use it, enjoy it! Word hasn't gotten much better in keeping much of its "guts" secret.
