The dozen selections on this Storyville CD would not qualify as "hits" but they do a fine job of summing up the Dixieland music of trombonist Papa Bue Jensen's Viking Jazz Band. Programmed in chronological order, there is not much change (either in personnel or in style) from 1958's "Praise of Nyboder" to 1970's "Down by the Riverside" but neither has the band (which includes Finn Otto Hansen on trumpet and clarinetist Jorgen Svare) lost any of its enthusiasm.
