Anyone interested in the CHADWICK family history from New England to their ultimate migration to Carteret County NC is well served in this 125 page book, packed with narratives and interesting tid-bits of Chadwick lore. A whaling license was issued to the Chadwicks in 1726 and the water tradition continued for hundreds of years, in many forms. The family was extensive in Carteret County NC and is nicely amplified in this book which includes cemetery locations and family burials, along with a few excellent descendant charts of great interest. Although Amy Muse has been gone now some 40+ years, her book on the Chadwick history lives on for current researchers and for those who have an interest in the Mayflower descendants. An excellent book for a Chadwick library!
