ABOUT THIS BOOKThis is a little book about family relationships and generation gaps. This fiction novel is meant to be a family comedy about superficial "wants" pitted against family "needs", challenging an average family to face choices between self-fulfillment and ties to a family running deep and in their face.It centers around a character called "Grandma" by all the family members and others who have found an interesting time with the lady. There is a serious dilemma for the entire family, because you see, Grandma gets thrown out of the nursing home, and moves to reclaim her rights to her old homestead. This is being challenged by her own son and his family. But grandma is a strong-willed woman, angrily and verbally seeking to regain control of her extended family although she vows "she hates them."Her son and his wife, otherwise known as "Dad and Mom" in this story, actually do own the huge house and he is taking early retirement to remodel the house to "flip it in a sale".Right during this calamity, their daughter suffering from an abused marriage arrives with a teen pregnant daughter. Things are further confusing when who should come driving in with this daughter, but it is another family member coming home (their son), arriving after flunking out of the fourth college he has tried. He drives up bringing his band, tagging along in an old truck, and this is just as cousins family come here after losing their tickets to Europe and traveler tickets.
