My guess is that if you took a survey, most people would not think that reading the life story of Grandma Moses would be very relevant in America today. Too bad, because upon reflection the following terms come to mind:
Grandma Moses the person - True Grit;
Her artwork as a whole - an American Jewel;
This small book (in her own words) - Inspiring in its Simplicity.
