The writings of these strong and diverse women were inspiring, and I found myself with renewed motivation to venture out on my own with a sense of vindication and freedom. This is a book that made me cry and laugh. Like the nature so vividly represented, it brought a sense of the sacred to what is truly important. Reading the experiences of these women reminds me of the powerful solidarity within solitude.
