This is the second book in the goddess series by P.C. Cast. This book was very enjoyable and hard to put down. It was easy to relate to and empathize with the main characters. It had a perfect ending.

P C Cast ROCKS!
I must admit I hold a soft spot for P C Cast but I'll try and make this review as fair as possible. This story is a retelling of the Hades/Persephone story. I liked this story better but that's just me. The new side to the scary/dark god of the underworld was fasinating and I loved the idea that the young persephone was actually replaced with a wise, older woman. Okay, as far as fair goes that was pretty bad but it works right?
