OMINOUS NEW VISION
Ghosts of San Francisco takes supernatural entities and puts a real face and person behind each one. There are hints that the author will explain famous ghost sightings and there are many secrets touched upon. I just finished the second novel which I thought was unrelated. They both fall into his vision of things to come.
Most books these days paint an endless gloomy loop but this takes a different perspective to the future. It isn't dystopic or utopic, no black and white. You love the villains hate the villains love the heros hate the heros.
Has a gritty feel as if the characters themselves were telling a tiny microcosm from their own words and thoughts in a shadowy world of dark wonders. Great books are often either "get it or you don't" and I am glad I got it.
Looking forward to more.
