Longstreet was right!
Great read and fine piece of what if history that could have occurred, but didn't. Pickett's charge would not have occurrred and Lee and his generals could have been marching on Washington instead on back toward Virginia if General Longstreet's plan to flank the Union forces and get to high ground at Union Mills would have been followed. The characters (Lee and Union) and their feelings and fears as interpruted by the writers & historians are excellent! Will read other books in same series.
