This is an excellent book! Not only is it an enjoyable read, but also very well researched and life-changing. Mrs. Watters explains, from a biblical perspective, why Christians should marry and how women who wish to marry can help the process in a godly and appropriate manner. In a day when more men and women are entering their 30s still single, this book is definitely a must-read!

What Women Can Do to Obssess About Marriage
I found this book to not be very helpful at all. Much of the evidence that she uses is not new research, and frankly not analyzed with the intent of understanding the implications of the overall research, but to support her erroneous position that every single Christian woman should be on the hunt for a husband. Her Biblical support for her position also lacked solid exegesis and contained constant proof texting(taking scripture out of context to prove a point).
Please don't get me wrong. I believe that marriage is wonderful. But I don't believe that a woman should turn down career opportunities, educational opportunities, or even opportunities to exercise good business acumen in order to get a husband. I also don't believe that a woman should be looking for her husband in college. (the book advocates second guessing your educational and professional aspirations, as well as keeping your eyes out for potential suitors in college)It would be one thing if the rest of the college student population actually displayed the maturity, self-awareness and solid identity for marriage and family life. But that is not the case for a lot of people.
