This first book of 'The Prodigal Project' was a very interesting kick-off. Much different than the 'Left Behind' series but with the same time period being lived by the characters. Interpersonal relationships and thoughts were in-depth with more complex interactions. The only difficulty I saw was that the series was reportedly "canceled by the publisher" after 'Kings'. I really enjoyed the writing style in the series. I would hope that the writers would finish the series (without dragging it out as happened in the "Left Behind' series).
