The judges of the district court shall be elected in each judicial district at a general election, and shall hold office for four years, except when elected to fill a vacancy, in which case it shall be only for the unexpired term. 21 G. A., ch. 134, 4. Sec. 1070. Representatives. Members of the house of representatives shall be elected in the respective representative districts in each even-numbered year, and hold office for the term of two years. 31 G. A., ch. 36, 5.
