Size: 12mo-over 6.75"-7.75" tall; Slightly cocked tan illustrated leatherette covered boards have sharp tips and bumped spine ends. 248 page text us browned and brittle with one closed tear on front illustrated end paper. Edges of page block dyed red. Unclipped (and unpriced) color illustrated dust jacket with art that wraps around backstrip and rear panel. Small sticker pull at upper fore-edge of frt panel took part of the Y in author's name but name remains legible. Small chips at all tips, 3.75" closed tear at head of rear panel and chips along foot of rear panel and backstrip. DJ now in new mylar and displays well from the front. Gene Autry and his horse, Champ, find plenty of grave trouble brewing as soon as they get into the redwood country to investigate a rumor about a gang who is pirating timber in the forests along the Chicapoo River.
