I was looking for more of a techniques and tricks guide or a "how to". This book does not do this. However it does contain alot of useful information when it comes to polishing and gem cutting, the tools, strengths of materials to cut. I have found the best way to learn cabs is trial and error.
Glad I have in my library as a reference guide, but not as a teaching manual.
I rate it a 3.5 overall with a 2 for teaching and a 5 for reference.
