Too much extra stuff and adult help needed
The projects need many things in addition to the recycled materials and almost all require adult assistance for safety reasons, which I don't think is ideal in the 7-10 year old target age. Yes, the book claims to target children of 3 to 8, but much below 7 the adult would be taking over the whole project to be obliging.
