As a second in the Blue Hawk Series, Destiny's Dawn starts a little slow, but about a third of the way through, it picks up and the characters become more developed and the story line, like almost all of Bittner's books, draws you in, becomes more of a page turner. True to Bittner's style, the book's historical account is accurate and eye-opening, which makes her fiction not just entertaining, but educational. These characters are well-developed and easily tug at your heart strings.
