The North's command's orders were to burn every crop and fruitful field in their wake and to destroy their southern coastline enemies at the, VERY, core of its wealth and growth. The South had little resources, in comparison to their opposition, to stop their "March to the Coast." "HELL TO PAY!" The covered wagon was loaded with only the barest necessities, the Colonel, his family, LILLIE, Ollie-Belle, with her cast iron skillet for Cookin' and protection, and a bag of seeds.
