Near Fine. Signed by Author 1988, printing unstated. SIGNED BY BOTH VERN SWANSON & TOM CLARK on title page in black ink. On front cover the "B Dalton Bookseller Autographed Copy" sticker remains in place. A Near Fine copy-clean and otherwise unmarked. Firmly bound in stiff color illustrated paper cover. No creasing to spine-no cracks or splits to binding. Cover is clean, slightly edge rubbed but no tears or chips. Vern Swanson had been cutting hair on the corner of 50th and France (Edina, Minnesota) since 1936 when he shared his memories with Tom Clark. A wonderful recollection of personalities and places. Illustrated with B&W photos. 7 x 10"; 115 pages.
