The rising sun casts a beam of light onto a white building on a small island in the distance. This is the material world. Thinking of words such as moved or touched, I feel that such morning landscape tend to make me use them more easily than art does." Interspersed throughout "From San Servolo to Amalfi" are philosophical musings and perceptive commentary on the Biennale.
