I found this book in a junk shop and stood there and read it through , captivated by the poetic beauty of what sounds like to me a song, and by the thrilling illustrations by Schell. For me, it's content is deep and true. I had to buy copies for all of my adult children. You will be struck by it's loveliness from a different era.
