Good Read, But not his best work
Stuart Woods has once again spun a twisting tale full of mystery, killers, and women. As always, the continuing character Stone Barrington has ended up with a less than honest client. Also the leading lady in his life at the moment brings some unexpected trouble along with her as well. The story line is a good one with several unexpected twists which keep the pages turning. But the character, Stone Barrington is getting a little shallow on the surface; i.e. he sleeps with almost every woman that is in the story. I like the character books by Stuart Woods because you can pick them up in any order and read them. Stuart Woods does reference the past books, but he does it in such a way that a new reader to the series does not feel left behind or that he/she has missed something. But if you have read past books in the series, there are some things in the book that you get the feeling that you have inside knowledge. With this book, Herbie Fisher was a character in a past book. Therefore if you have read that one, you already have some history about this character. If this is your first Stuart Woods book, don?t be put off, within the first chapter, you will be fully aware of how this character follow trouble. Fresh Disasters is a good read. It does have mystery, romance, but it is a little crude. I would recommend this book or any of the fiction books that Stuart Woods has written to my friends, but not to my younger teenage relatives.

Stuart Woods Does It Again
Take one Stone Barrington, add a few good friends, a few love interests, and a complex crime story, and you have one great novel. Stone is the type of man every woman loves to hate - and every man wants to be. Mr. Woods, keep them coming.

Excellent
You can bet that any book depicting the character Stone Barrington will be a success. The depth that Stuart Woods goes to develop his characters is astounding. All the Stone Barrington books are great reads and this is a continuance of that success.
