Preface by William Hoffer who indicates this is the second, enlarged and corrected edition of this pamphlet which first appeared for distribution at a debate held in Vancouver at the end of April 1987 on the government funding of art. As well there is a document consisting of 4 leaves printed rectos only by Hoffer entitled "A Statement" in which he give his views on the state of the arts in Canada in the late 1980s.
