Circa 1900. Illumination on front cover and spine though it is faded. Blind-stamping of library stamp on back cover, Book is cocked, edge worn and shelf worn. Pages are cut with top edge gilt. Front cover is coming away from page block. Some pages are loose and many others are coming loose. Pages have finger and dirt smudges on pags around text. Illustration throughout with blind-stamping on the back of each. Random pencil and pen markings throughout book through only minor. Circular ink stain on edge of page block. Some liquid stains on page edges in middle of book but text is still clear. This book has hardback covers. Ex-library, With usual stamps and markings, In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy.
