I've seen "Aunt Dan and Lemon" and thought it was good even when it veered off into diatribe. But reading it is good, too. "The Fever" seems like it would be great to see as a one-character show, man or woman. The parts about getting sick in a 3rd world country resonate with me as I've been to Central America and know what it is to experience discomfort, though not quite as seriously, as described. Mr. Shawn is an amazing writer and his plays are so very good.
