Col. Meyers was a primary member of the group of U.S. Marines that created Force Recon in the 1950's & 1960's. "Fortune Favors The Brave" is anecdotal in its approach with a great many stories. Incudes WWII, Korea & Vietnam locales. Very readable and informative. I wish that Col. Meyers had also written a series of fictional stories about this extraordinary group of men in WWII, Korea & Vietnam. My brother was a Marine corpsman in Vietnam in one of Col. Meyers' Force recon groups. I found this out subsequent to meeting Col. Meyers in 2010.
