For the Children's Sake gave me a vision for the education I want my kids to experience. It inspired me to think about education as more than just the 3 'Rs' in a classroom, in the test-oriented culture America has developed in the last fifteen years.
Macaulay shares her experience of having her own children in Charlotte Mason inspired schools, and the excellent education they received there.
Whether you choose to carefully select your children's educational environment or to create it by teaching at home, this book sets high ideals for what that can look like, and how it affects the life of the child.
I highly recommend this book.

For the Children's sake
I found this book to be easy to understand, but a little base or surface. Some topics could have been more indepth on the subject. and some areas were just ok , that the author was trying to convey. The basic foundation of teaching children was the authors message and I did receive that message.
