I can only imagine the insanity that must have been going through their minds Perhaps it was those scientist in that long tunnel underground trying to split molecules with a beam of light. They have been to trying to find a way to send something back through time for years. Perhaps is something to do with the great earthquakes, the tsunamis causing the earth to be moved from its axis.
