This book was amazing for my Med-Surg Rotations! There was a lot of gaps between where physiology left off and nursing picked up and this was the perfect book to fill it in. It is easy to read, has easy to understand graphics and explanations to complex ideas. Simply the best companion to help bridge the gap between a good nursing student and an excellent nursing student. I think that this should be on every instructors recommendation list!

Simple and easy introduction electrolyte chemistry
The book is for trainee nurses, but any health care professional can use it.
Electrolyte and fluid management in clinical situations/ emergencies can be tricky and this book can be used as a grounding before moving on to better detailed texts on the physiology involved.

Excellent for reviewing concepts and getting them in your head. Use this book with your medical surgical textbook. Nice review questions at the end of each chapter. Each page has a a few golden nuggets rather than a lot of confusing materials.
