While not exactly a great film, Flubber does sport a Danny Elfman score that flirts happily with many of the Elfman trademarks, from blasting brass crescendos to goofy organ lines and peculiar instrumental interruptions. Much of it will remind Elfman fans of everything from the heyday of Oingo Boingo to the more outrageous passages of his Beetlejuice score.
